Is the scratch card section at Coral Casino worth using or is it just a novelty feature? I know serious casino players dismiss scratch cards but I enjoy the instant result format. Are the online versions provably fair and does the RTP hold up in practice?

Crossword scratch cards and puzzle format instant wins often have lower RTPs — around 93% to 94% — because the extra game mechanics cost more to develop and run. Pure number matching scratch cards tend to have slightly better RTPs within the category.

If you enjoy scratch cards the best approach is playing at a casino that lists the specific RTP for each title individually — Videoslots and PlayOJO both do this. Pick the highest RTP titles in the scratch card section rather than playing random titles where the RTP varies significantly.

Online scratch cards at around 95% RTP are worse value than most good slots which run at 96% to 99%. The appeal is the instant result and simplicity — no bonus rounds to wait for, no volatility to manage. If you enjoy the format play with that in mind rather than as a value play.
